Terms and Conditions
1. Membership and Access

Membership Eligibility: All members must complete a membership application, provide accurate personal information, and sign a waiver or liability form.

Access: Members must use their personal membership fob or access code to enter. Sharing access with non-members is strictly prohibited.

Membership Types: Access privileges may vary based on membership type (e.g., staffed hours only for under 16 memberships, etc.).

Suspension/Termination: The gym reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership for violations of these terms or inappropriate conduct.
2 Age-Based Access Policy
Ages 13–15

Must be accompanied at all times by:
-
A parent/guardian or member aged 18+ with a full membership
-
A qualified staff member during staffed hours.

Prohibited from using certain free weights subject to staff-determined weight limits for safety.

Ages 16–17
-
May use all machines and free weights, but use of free weights is subject to staff-determined weight limits for safety.
Age 18+

Full access to all equipment and gym facilities during opening hours, including unstaffed periods.
3 Health and Safety

All members must complete an induction or sign a waiver confirming they are fit to exercise.

If you feel unwell, dizzy, or in pain, stop exercising and seek assistance.

Report all injuries, accidents, or faulty equipment to a staff member immediately.

Proper workout attire (including appropriate clean footwear) must be worn at all times.

No open-toed shoes, work boots, or jeans in the gym.
-
Equipment must be wiped down after use with provided cleaning supplies.

Use equipment as instructed. Misuse may result in injury and/or suspension.
4 Conduct and Etiquette

Treat staff, members, and the facility with respect.
-
No shouting, aggressive behaviour, or inappropriate language.
-
Do not monopolize machines—limit use to 20 minutes during peak times.

Mobile phone use must be discreet; no loud music or phone calls on the gym floor.

Re-rack weights and return equipment after use.
5 Personal Belongings and Liability

NCDA Gym and Fitness is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Do not leave valuables unattended.
6 Classes and Personal Training

Class schedules are subject to change. Advance booking may be required.

Personal training services are available at an additional cost.
-
Only staff or approved trainers may offer personal training services on the premises.
7 Guest Policy

Guest access may be permitted during staffed hours only, and a guest fee may apply.

Guests must complete a waiver and follow all gym rules.
-
Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
8 Facilities and Closures

Hours of operation and staffed hours are posted on-site and online.

The gym may close temporarily for maintenance, cleaning, or unforeseen circumstances. Members will be notified in advance whenever possible.

Refunds or extensions will not be provided for temporary closures under 7 days.
9 Payments and Cancellations

Membership fees are billed monthly unless otherwise agreed.
-
Late or missed payments may result in access suspension.
-
Cancellations require 28 days' written notice, subject to the membership agreement.

No refunds are issued for unused time unless required by law.
10 Amendments
Natalie Couper Dance Academy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or in-gym notice.
By using our facilities, you agree to abide by all the above Terms and Conditions.
